(The complete title of this book is "Walking from the Mountains to the Sea - Bush Tracks between Nowra and Batemans Bay")
Graeme Barrow is a writer of walking books primarily aimed at the more adventurous tourist. Nevertheless, many of the walks described in this excellent book will be appreciated by our on-track and andante walkers. Some, such as the walks to Red Rocks Trig and the Walter Hood monument are well known to the Club but others, particularly those further south, may not be so familiar to our members.
Perhaps the book's greatest benefit to the Club will be for new and prospective leaders. They should find walk descriptions and maps clear and easy to follow and the snippets of interesting information can be memorised to make new leaders sound like old hands at the game.
