September / October 2010 - the South of France
Rodney Hills (Batemans Bay Bushwalkers) - rodneyhills2@bigpond.com or 4478-6104.

Two weeks walking and exploring in the Corbieres area in the south of France. Accommodation, most meals, walk leader and local transport are all included.

Rodney and his wife own a house in the tiny village of Padern (Aude Department) and can arrange exclusive use of the local Gite d'etape (used to be the Mayor's place) for a group of walkers. The program will probably be two one-day walks, then a day off to tour the area and so on. There is a Trip Report with photos here.

The likely cost for two weeks will only be about 650 Euros (around $1050 at the current exchange rate) - however, there will need to be about 12 people attending. This could easily form part of a longer European holiday. You won't find a better-value organised trip anywhere. If you are interested, please get in touch with Rodney soon.
